House rules

Read them before you show up. We are not a hostel, not a coworking, not a party flat — we are laser focused on building Hacklab.

The hierarchy

  1. LVL 6House daddy

    Runs the house. Guest bookings, keys, access, disputes. His call is final.

    Runs supplies, cleaning ops, and rules the house when daddy is out.

    You live here and work for Hacklab. Ship. Keep your space clean. Company card is for Hacklab work only.

  4. LVL 3Hacklab team

    This is your workplace and crash pad. You are always welcome here, and can crash anytime.

  5. LVL 2.5Guest

    Scheduled stay only. DM house daddy. Leave when the window ends. Follow the rules religiously.

  6. LVL 2Goblin

    Hardware people. 24/7 access to the dungeon. TBA when dungeons will be ready.

  8. LVL 0Randoms

    Show up to a public event. During the event you can be on floor 0 and floor 1. Leave when it ends. Private rooms are off-limits.

The rules

  1. 01Bring more value than you take. Think about how you can be useful and what you can give before asking about taking.
  2. 02Clean up after yourself. Wash every dish you used immediately, put your shit in the trash, don't leave your stuff in random places.
  3. 03Don't touch other people's shit. Laptops, monitors, cameras, chargers, cables, speakers, lights and so on.
  4. 04Don't go into residents' private rooms uninvited.
  5. 05Don't interrupt Hacklab meetings!
  6. 06Fridge, coffee, and house 24/7 are for residents and Hacklab team. Goblins get the dungeon. Floor 2 is booked guests only. Floors 0 and 1 are residents and Hacklab team, except during events.
  7. 07Events are the exception. During a public event, guests can be on floor 0 and floor 1. Not floor 2, not overnight, not the fridge. When the event ends, default rules are back.
  8. 08House daddy's call is final. No courtroom.
  9. 09Floor 0 is hacklab work. Do not park yourself in a Hacklab office you were not directly invited to.
